1. What is AR111 lamp/bulb?

An AR111 bulb/lamp is a very special halogen lamp, and it usually comes with G53 base, which is a screw terminal base, different with standard screw-in bases.  With 111mm diameter and multiple reflectors of different angles, it can be used as either spot lighting or flood lighting in the hospitality and retail industry.

2. Where is AR111 lamp/bulb used?

AR111 lamp/bulb can be used as spot or general lighting in many different applications. Most common are they used in shops, hotels, restaurants, bars, musuems, exhibitions, galleries, corridors, lobbies…etc.

3. Why to replace AR111 halogen lamp with AR111 Led lamp?

AR111 Led lamp/bulb is much more energy efficient than conventional halogen AR111 lamp/bulb. Moreover, it has a lifetime of 35,000 hours, tens of times longer than AR111 halogen. Considering the truth that AR111 lamp/bulb is widely used in retailing shops, where a big number of lights are working for many hours everyday, using AR111 Led lamp definitely would save a remarkable amount of money on electricity bill.  And, you need not worry about frequent maintenance on halogen lamps any more.

4. How to replace AR111 halogen lamp with AR111 Led lamp?

We, Dilight Technology Limited, offers two input voltages for AR111 Led lamps, 12V DC (usually with G53 base), or high voltage 120V AC/240V AC (usually with GU10  base). For applications with high voltage input, what you need do is just a direct replacement. For applications with 12V low voltage input, please make sure the input voltage is 12V DC before replacing the lamp. If it’s an electronic transformer with 12V AC output inside, you need replace it also with a 12V DC output Led power supply.
